and grandparents who appeared in her dream represented the "versions"
of those individuals that live on in your Mom's heart and mind. Another
way to say this is that each of them represents the sum-total of the
effects that that person had in your Mom's life, her feelings about
them, experience of them, memories of them, etc.
It looks to me like they showed up in a dream at that
particualar time because your Mom had just completed a phase or transition
in her life and they were there to share in celebrating with her and
congratulating her. It appears that the phase or transition had to
do with "coming into her own" in her life or in her personal development
somehow.
